“Faster, Higher, Stronger, TOGETHER”.

“Faster, Higher, Stronger, TOGETHER”.

The Olympic motto is “Citius, Altius, Fortius”.

It translates to “Faster, Higher, Stronger” in our English language.

The phrase endeavors to encapsulate the spirit of the Olympic movement, of which 7 of our Race One male athletes have endured.

In no particular order, below are 7 names perhaps you don’t want to see in your Open MaleSingle Ski Australian Final come Sunday.

Riley Fitzsimmons, Jean van der Westhuyze, Tom Green.
Murray Stewart, Noah Havard, Jackson Collins, Lachlan Tame.

In total, they have represented our country in 12 Olympic Games, and each hold an Olympic medal to their name.

An incredible feat from an admirable bunch.

With 6 of our 7 men lining up in the 2025 Australian Final, it shouldn’t come as a surprise
that they took out the entire podium, plus the choccie medal.

Jackson secured himself a third Australian title, claiming victory ahead of his K4 teammate Riley, while Jean took third.

Having spent a few extra years on the water, Murray’s experience could not be faulted with a fourth placing.

An interesting fact about our 7 male athletes is that 6 from 7 represent a different surf club along the Gold Coast coastline.

Despite training together daily over the years in kayaks and on flat water, Surf Lifesaving has predominately been where their love for paddling began.

At the conclusion of the Australian Titles Jackson shared his thoughts from the week that
was. “And with that, the 2025 Surf Life Saving season has come to an end,” he wrote.

“I am so proud to have taken out my 3rd Australian Ski title. I have so much support and I
can’t thank everyone enough. Your support of me has helped me achieve my dreams, and for that I am forever grateful.”

For Tom it was returning to the place where it all began. “Didn’t realise how much I missed it..had such a blast at Aussies last week!” He stated.

Riley’s week was special on all accounts. “Another special week on the beach for Aussies 2025!” Paddling their Race One skis into the Australian Final, joining one of the strongest fields we have seen in ski paddling history, our Olympians spent a week on the beach, aspiring to be “Faster, Higher, Stronger” than the next competitor.

In doing so, they successfully achieved their goals.

In 2021 the motto of the Olympic Games was updated with the addition of ‘Communiter”.

Translating to ‘Together’.

The addition of this is to reflect the importance of unity and solidarity within the Olympic Community.

Resonating with Race One, our passion for empowering individuals to unlock their potential and shine on the water with high-quality gear, meticulously crafted to enhance performance and revolutionise water experiences, the Olympic motto “Faster, Higher, Stronger, TOGETHER”, aligns perfectly with the vison we have for our elite athletes striving for superiority and our beginners eager to dive into the thrilling world of ocean paddling.

For Riley, Jean, Tom, Murray, Noah, Jackson, and Lachlan the unity and solidarity shared
through a passion for paddling their Race One skis demonstrates all that we at Race One
and the Olympic movement aspire for the future of our sport -

“Faster, Higher, Stronger, TOGETHER”.
