Warranty Information

To ensure your Race One Surf Craft lasts as long as possible and remains in good condition, proper care is essential. Follow these guidelines for optimal maintenance:

Board Care Tips

• Storage: Ensure you store your board away from heat and out of direct sunlight. Excessive heat may cause delamination to the fibreglass and knee pads.
• Covering: Never store your board inside its cover in or out of the sun. Heat builds up inside the cover very easily. Your cover should be used for protection during transit.
• Repairs: If your board is damaged, ensure you have it repaired correctly before use. If water absorbs into the board, it is very hard to dry out.
• Cleaning: Wash your board with fresh water after use.

Ski Care Tips

• Storage: Ensure you store your ski out of direct sunlight. Excessive heat may cause the ski to compress, which will put pressure on the seam.
• Bung Removal: Remove the bung after every use and do not leave it in for excessive amounts of time.
• Inspection: Inspect the rudder lines and the steering mechanism for wear, tear, and rust.
• Rudder Care: Check the rudder for wear as it can become very sharp.
• Cleaning: Ensure you wash your ski with fresh water after every use.

Paddle Care Tips

• Disassembly & Cleaning: Ensure to take apart your adjustable ski paddle after every use and wash inside the shaft, the clasp, and the blade with fresh water.
• Sun Exposure: Do not leave your paddle in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• Clasp Maintenance: If your clasp comes loose, ensure you tighten it so your paddle does not twist when in use. Do not over-tighten the screw.

Damaged in Transit

We recommend purchasing freight insurance to cover any potential damages during shipping. If your Race One Surf Craft arrives damaged, please notify us immediately so we can resolve the issue.
