Gold Coast, Australia – The 2023/24 Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf Series is set to make a splash this summer, with over $600,000 in prize money up for grabs. The series will feature five premier rated events and an expanded regional event series with further events to be announced.
The premier events, dates and locations include the Shaw and Partners Hayden Kenny Classic, taking place the 1st – 2nd December 2023, the Shaw and Partners Manly Open on 19th – 20th January 2024, the Shaw and Partners North Bondi Classic on 9th – 10th February 2024, and the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic Double Header from 1st – 3rd March 2024.

The Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic will again feature the formal awards night and after function, making it a must-attend event for surf lifesaving fans and competitors alike.
“We’re looking forward to seeing some fierce competition across all of the events, with some of the best athletes in the sport vying for the top prizes,” said Summer of Surf Communications Manager Ben Cochrane.
The 2023/24 Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf will also see a new look Race One Surf Craft and Paddlers junior racing experience featuring a Race One finals arena with 6 Race One Skis, 10 Race on Boards and 14 Race One Paddles to be given away to the elite junior athletes.
This huge elevation in junior racing is welcomed by Race One Surf Craft and Paddles Co-Owner Jimmy Walker. “The past few years has seen a massive boost in racing in the open rankings so we are so proud to be expanding this into the Under 15 and Under 17 racing where the future superstars are starting to make their mark. With the winners of the irons getting to take home a brand new ski, board and paddle ($7,800 value) is really something special to get them motivated and rewarded for their efforts.”
